HISTORY & VISION
The vision for the Zion Foundation was birthed in 1984. After twenty years of working to support Israel through prayer, finances, teachings, and sending teams and key workers, the Zion Foundation was officially established as a registered non-profit organization in 2004.
Throughout this long period of involvement leading up to the establishment of the organization, the underlying motivation has been to help Christians understand the responsibility to support Israel from a Biblical basis, and to provide practical ways to be involved in projects in Israel. This remains the vision. It is the conviction behind the work, putting action to the words.
For years, personnel in Israel have worked alongside other organizations and established projects for leadership training, congregational development and humanitarian aid.
Today, the Zion Foundation officially supports these personnel and the Israeli projects they have established. The foundation provides finance, an administrative structure for key personnel and projects, and ongoing strategies for future development.
GOALS:
The Zion Foundation aims to invest in Israel through various ways:
1. Resource Israeli projects through finances and personnel
2. Educate Christians concerning the Hebraic roots of the faith and responsibilities to Israel through: seminars, teaching materials and tours to Israel.
3. Send teams of young people to Israel to study and work in the land on short-term trips
4. Facilitate placement of short-term volunteer workers in Israel
5. Support the growing Messianic movement of Israeli believers
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION:
Zion Foundation Inc is a non-profit organization registered in Australia: ABN 28 276 286 889. The foundation's primary function is to serve as a base for educating Christians about Israel and sending finance and personnel to Israel and needy Jewish communities. Projects in Israel include leadership training, educational and self-help seminars, congregational development, youth and children's work and humanitarian aid.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
The Zion Foundation is directed by a board of ordained ministers, businessmen, and international advisors who provide accountability and counsel for the work in Israel.
PARTNERSHIP & ENDORSEMENT:
The Zion Foundation works in partnership with sponsoring individuals, businesses, churches, and ministries.

EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS:
The Zion Foundation distributes educational materials to help Christians understand God's covenant plan for Israel, to study the Scriptures from the Hebraic roots, and to understand what God is doing in Israel and the Middle East today.
